It offers access to pieces whose outer presentation no longer meets our boutique standards, while the fragrance inside remains entirely unchanged. Giving these products another chance keeps perfectly usable fragrances and their existing packaging in circulation instead of letting them go to waste.

The Exception Edit is an occasional selection of new and untouched ANOMALIA fragrances whose outer packaging has a cosmetic imperfection. These pieces no longer meet our presentation standards for boutiques, while the fragrance inside remains complete and uncompromised.
Is this a promotion or a seasonal sale?
No. ANOMALIA does not run ordinary promotions on its collections. The Exception Edit applies exclusively to pieces marked down because their outer packaging no longer meets our presentation standards. Their lower price reflects that difference in condition rather than a discount on our regular collection.
Why offer these pieces instead of discarding them?
Because a superficial packaging imperfection should not turn an intact fragrance into avoidable waste. Keeping these products and their existing packaging in circulation is a more considered way to handle what already exists.
How often does The Exception Edit take place?
No more than twice a year, depending on the availability of qualifying pieces. It remains an occasional exception and is never a permanent promotional event.
Why is the price 50% lower?
The lower price reflects the cosmetic condition of the outer packaging. The fragrance itself retains its quality, quantity and integrity. This price difference applies only to pieces specifically included in The Exception Edit.
Are the bottles and fragrances new?
Yes. Every fragrance is new, complete and untouched. The imperfection concerns the outer packaging and does not affect the fragrance, its quality or its quantity.
What kind of packaging imperfections should I expect?
The box may show marks, scuffs or other cosmetic imperfections. Each piece is different, and specific imperfections cannot be selected.
Are these testers or previously used fragrances?
No. The Exception Edit features new, complete fragrances. Their marked-down status relates only to the condition of their outer presentation.
Is a “Try Before You Commit” sample included?
No. Unlike regular purchases from our online boutique, Sample Sale orders do not include a sample of the selected fragrance to try before opening the full-size bottle. This service is not available for The Exception Edit.
Is shipping complimentary?
No. Shipping charges apply to all Sample Sale orders. Complimentary shipping normally available through our online boutique does not apply to The Exception Edit. The relevant shipping cost is shown at checkout.
Does the displayed price already reflect the markdown?
Yes. The price shown for each eligible product is already the marked-down price offered through The Exception Edit. No promotional code is required.
Is an item reserved once I add it to my basket?
No. Availability is confirmed only after the order and payment have been completed. Because quantities are limited, an item may sell out before checkout is finalised.
How long will this selection be available?
Until the available pieces sell out. Quantities are limited, and there is no guarantee that any fragrance will return in a future edition.
Can I return a Sample Sale purchase?
Returns are limited to products sent back unopened, unused and in their original condition, subject to applicable statutory rights.
