Bertrand Duchaufour

Bertrand Duchaufour is a name synonymous with the art of French perfumery - a true olfactory artist whose creations have left an indelible mark on both the grand world of luxury brands and the intimate realm of niche fragrances. His enduring love for scents led him, in 1985, to Grasse, the global heart of perfumery, where he joined the prestigious Lautier Florasynth group. It was here that his sensory voyage began, a path that would see him refine his craft at Créations Aromatiques and Symrise, shaping extraordinary perfumes with unparalleled skill.

The turning point came in 1995, when Duchaufour unveiled his first masterpiece, the delicate Amber & Lavender for Jo Malone - a composition that seamlessly fused warmth with elegance, crafted with a level of precision rarely seen. From that moment, his boundless creative genius flourished, forging collaborations with some of the most celebrated houses in the industry, including Penhaligon’s, Acqua di Parma, Comme des Garçons, Givenchy, and Christian Dior. His fragrances, each a poetic creation, embody a perfect harmony of innovation and sophistication, solidifying his status as an unrivalled master of the language of scent.

Among his myriad masterpieces, Duchaufour graced us with Jardins Humanistes - an exquisite floral symphony highlighting the planet’s most majestic white flowers. This fragrance, much like its creator, is a testament to the profound artistry and inspiration that make Bertrand Duchaufour a paragon of perfumery.

Nicolas Bonneville

Nicolas Bonneville, a master perfumer with a destiny as unique as it is inspiring, has become a luminary in the world of fragrance. At Firmenich, a global powerhouse in the realms of perfumes and flavours, he crafts olfactory masterpieces with unparalleled finesse. Born and raised in France, Nicolas discovered his calling at the tender age of twelve during a life-changing trip to Grasse - a city steeped in centuries of perfumed history and artisanal expertise. Surrounded by the city’s sophisticated aromas and enchantingly rich narratives, he found a passion that would ignite his life’s work.

After earning a degree in chemistry, Nicolas chose to chart a path led by his dreams. Returning to Grasse, he received elite training under the tutelage of Jacques Maurel, an iconic figure in the world of perfumery - a rare privilege that set the foundation for his future. Yet, for Nicolas, learning from masters was only the beginning. His quest for the finest ingredients and most exceptional essences took him across the globe. From the heady jasmine sambac fields of India to the vibrant orchards of Italian bergamot and mandarin, from the rare and precious iris of Florence to the delicate Tunisian orange blossom, each voyage became a sacred pursuit of olfactory perfection.

For Nicolas, perfume is no mere product - it is art, deeply emotive and transformational. But his life reflects more than artistic passion; it also embodies discipline, strategy, and the thrill of challenges. A motorsport aficionado, Nicolas eagerly attends the 24 Hours of Le Mans, captivated by the endurance and precision of its competitors. He sees deep parallels between this intense collaboration and his creative process - where passion, precision, and teamwork are distilled into fragrances that mesmerise and endure.

Nicolas Bonneville is a rare harmony of science and artistry, an explorer of the senses, for whom every carefully crafted perfume is an invitation to travel, to dream, to awaken the imagination. Among his creations is the magnificent Cérémonie, a poetic homage to the spirit of the 1960s and an entrancing tribute to the legendary band, The Doors. Through this scented ode, Nicolas transforms nostalgia into an immersive and unforgettable experience.
